2. Products and Website Information

Specs Hub sells prescription glasses, non-prescription glasses, sunglasses, lenses and related eyewear products.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, colours, prices and availability are accurate. However:

  • Colours may appear differently depending on your screen.
  • Product measurements may have minor manufacturing variations.
  • Images may be illustrative and may not show the exact scale of a product.
  • Product availability may change without notice.
  • Typographical, technical or pricing errors may occasionally occur.

We may correct errors, update information or cancel an affected order. If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, the relevant amount will be refunded.

3. Prescription Eyewear

You are responsible for supplying a valid, current and accurate prescription issued by a suitably qualified eye-care professional.

You are also responsible for correctly supplying any required measurements, including pupillary distance, where applicable.

By ordering prescription eyewear, you confirm that:

  • The prescription belongs to the person who will use the glasses.
  • The prescription details have been entered or uploaded accurately.
  • The prescription remains valid and suitable for use.
  • You have not knowingly omitted any relevant information.
  • You will contact us before production if anything appears incorrect.

We may request a copy of your prescription or additional information before processing an order. We may pause or cancel an order if prescription information is incomplete, unclear, inconsistent or outside the manufacturing range of the selected frame or lenses.

Our website and customer-support team do not provide eye examinations, medical diagnoses or medical advice. Our products are not a substitute for professional eye care. Consult a qualified eye-care professional if you experience changes in vision, discomfort or other eye-health concerns.

4. Prices and Promotions

Product prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or at checkout.

Delivery charges, taxes, lens upgrades, coatings, thinner lenses and other optional services may cost extra. The complete amount payable will be displayed before you confirm payment.

Promotional prices apply only under the stated conditions and during the advertised period. Promotions may:

  • Exclude particular prescriptions, lens types or brands.
  • Be subject to product availability.

Specs Hub does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details. Card and transaction information may be collected and processed directly by Safepay, the relevant bank or another authorised payment provider.

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges, international transaction charges or other fees. Such third-party charges are outside our control.

7. Order Verification and Fraud Prevention

We may conduct reasonable verification checks before accepting or dispatching an order.

We may contact you for additional information when necessary to confirm your identity, payment authorisation, prescription information or delivery details.

We may delay, decline or cancel transactions that appear fraudulent, unauthorised or unusually high-risk.

8. Production and Delivery

Prescription glasses are commonly manufactured according to individual customer requirements. Production begins after we receive complete prescription information and successful payment authorisation.

Production and delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Prescription verification.
  • Product or lens availability.
  • Manufacturing requirements.
  • Public holidays.
  • Courier delays.
  • Customs inspections.
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for supplying a complete and accessible delivery address.

Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery, subject to applicable law. Ownership passes after we receive full payment.

Because prescription products may be manufactured specifically for you, cancellation or alteration may not be possible after production has started.

If work has already commenced, reasonable production or material costs may be deducted where permitted by law.

10. Returns, Replacements and Refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are governed by our separate Returns and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Prescription lenses and other personalised products may not qualify for a change-of-mind return after production unless our Returns and Refund Policy states otherwise or applicable law requires it.

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, materially different from your order or manufactured using prescription information different from what you correctly supplied, contact us promptly at specshub@gmail.com.

Please provide:

  • Your name and order number.
  • A description of the problem.
  • Clear photographs where relevant.
  • Any other information reasonably required to assess the issue.

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on Safepay, the issuing bank or another payment provider.

Original delivery charges, return-delivery charges and non-refundable third-party fees will be handled according to our Returns and Refund Policy and applicable law.

11. Customer Responsibilities

You agree not to:
